- You will probably see a windows
prompt like this on your screen. Go ahead and click “RUN”.
Don’t worry, this software is virus, spyware, and
malware free!
If you don’t
see this prompt, the file was probably saved in the DOWNLOADS
folder inside of MY DOCUMENTS. Look for DriverDetective.exe
and double-click to open.
- Once the program is installed,
go ahead and run the Driver Scan option
- The driver scan should only
take a minute or so. Once completed, you will be presented
with a list of recommended drivers to update. You can accept
the recommendations or deselect any drivers you don’t
want to update.
- At this point, you will have
reached the limitations of the FREE version. If you wish
to have Driver Detective update these drivers for you instantly
and automatically in the future, you will be prompted to
purchase the license when you proceed.
